The top area of the screen displays the Exemplar Text for the type of report that you will process using the new blueprint. (This area will be blank when you are adding a new blueprint.) The text displayed here is typically extracted from a sample report that is representative of the type of report that will be parsed.
The bottom area of the screen displays several report processing tabs used for defining the criteria for formatting and processing reports with the current blueprint. These tabs are further defined in the following sections.
Access this screen by clicking Edit on the top panel of the Edit New Blueprint screen. Use it to specify a sample report from which to extract the exemplar text for this blueprint.

Description |

Line Numbers |
Displays a number to each line of the exemplary text. This may help you to specify regions within the exemplar text, and compare the exemplar text with the headers in similar reports. |

Line Endings |
Displays a marker that shows the end of each line. This is useful if your lines end in spaces. |

Split Window |
Adds a second window, so you can work with both the header information and the report body in the same screen. |

Browse |
Enables you to search for a report in the local file system from which to extract exemplar text. |
|
Search |
Enables you to search for a Content Item in Stellent Content Server from which to extract exemplar text. |
Note: The Browse button is active only when you run Report Parser as an application on the server, not when you run it as an applet. The Search button is active when you run it as an application or an applet.
Access this screen by clicking Search on the Edit Blueprint Properties screen. Use it to search for exemplar text in Stellent Content Server. You can search by Content ID or Title.
